0Konjunktiv II in the Past Tense
The Konjunktiv II will also appear in the Plusquamperfect, the past perfect tense. This form is made with the auxiliary verb haben or sein in Konjunktiv II present + Partizip II:
- Wenn ich mehr Zeit hätte, hätte ich mehr die Gitarre gespielt. (If I had more time I would have played the guitar more)
- Wenn sie das gewust hätte, wäre sie schneller gekommen. (If she had known that, she would have come sooner.)
