How to learn Chinese language?

I feel Chinese language though its difficult with its 6000 characters and 4 tones yet interesting when you start associating Character with piniyin with tone and importantly my observation was associate it with your mother tongue pronunciation so that we get a better understanding to the language. ... ...more
I feel Chinese language though its difficult with its 6000 characters and 4 tones yet interesting when you start associating Character with piniyin with tone and importantly my observation was associate it with your mother tongue pronunciation so that we get a better understanding to the language. Characters , we need to associate the meaning pictorially to the character which makes the learning more interesting. Ofcourse a lot of listening will improve your language. This is how i learned the language.
