We all have been through stress at some or the other point of life. It might result in different states of mind. The mind which does not exercise healthy thoughts is prone to much stress than a mind which is well trained and disciplined. For example, we shall take up an incident to understand the quality of thoughts.
Person A is working in company B, and he signed an agreement that he is going to work there for a tenure of 1 year. He made a decision and joined the company. After three months, he started losing interest because of unchecked, uncontrolled layers of thoughts which resulted in because of the new job. He began developing hatredness and enmity towards his colleagues and boss. Had he started being positive, he would have developed skills to cope up with the situation and even he would have won appreciation from his colleagues and boss.
From this, we can understand that positivity helps in reducing stress. So, the question is how to tame or train the mind to become positive and healthy. The root of any habit is thought. If you want to keep a check on the practices which are unhealthy like overeating, worrying, brooding, addiction to an unhealthy lifestyle, the only way is to correct the thoughts. The more you alter the views, the better the life is.
How do we fix the thoughts?
Meditation is the only tool or process through which we develop deep insight, space and energy, which further helps us in redesigning our thought patterns. Daily if we can take time for ourselves, say, for at least 30 minutes a day to meditate, gradually the mind allows itself to be changed and over some time, we all become free from the clutches of the mind. You are your own creator.
We experience our mind than the actual truth. if you want to raise your understanding ability for a peaceful life, the only way that you can make it possible is through disciplined and regular meditation
The bi-product of regular meditation is a real and refined self. The true self is not prone to any stress. It's free from stress.
