IdentityA certified counselor, I work with children exhibiting specific learning challenges. I like to adapt my teaching methods to suit the child's inclination. I have patience and am a good listener trying to make learning fun, experiential and least stressful for the child.
My son currently studies in the 9th standard and my daughter is in the 4th standard, and therefore I am well - versed with the current syllabus and methodologies being used.
I believe a child is not liking his study time because he cannot understand something and not because he is acting up. Unless there really is a learning disability, kids will learn if the study material is made interesting and fun. I maintain conscious boundaries with the children I teach, and respect and space is something I do not like to compromise on.
