The course is offered on demand, has no set start and end date.

It is offered in-person (my home) and online. 

This course is for first year students of Financial accounting (B.com) or anyone interested in learning about accounting.

The idea of this course is to impart basic knowledge of accounting theory/concepts/principles, introduce books of original entry, ledger, journal, cash book, sales book, purchases book, followed by recording of transactions and preparation of trial balance.

Each class will be 1.5 hours long, followed by practice questions to do as homework.

There will be an evaluation at the end of three classes to check progress.

At the end of the course, students would have understood what accounting is, be thorough with the basic concepts and also be able to pass entries and prepare trial balance.
