1. Deploying the Checkpoint UTM, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto devices at new sites of the customer across the globe. Assisting the customer in migrating the Firewall infrastructure from one platform to another platform during the window agreed with the customer.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving all the issues experienced by the customer including Access, VPN, DHCP, VOIP & URL Filtering during the migration window.
3. Sound knowledge & understanding of Checkpoint, PIX/ASA firewalls, Juniper SRX firewalls, Netscreen, Palo Alto, Sourcefire IDS/IPS, McAfee IPS, Cisco IPS, McAfee ePO, Symantec AV, Trend Micro HIPS, Security Devices Upgradation Planning, Implementation & Maintenance, Process Mapping, Audit Assessment, Service Desk Co-ordination to get aligned with Security Teams and Quality Initiatives.
4. Expertise in troubleshooting issues related to firewall changes and coordinating with clients to fix the issues, implementing and configuring Access Policies, Failover & VPN as per customer requests so to ensure minimum downtime and maximum availability of service.
5. Responsible for Sourcefire IDS deployment & administration. Enabling both Vendor & Custom rules on Sourcefire sensors through Defense Center. Monitoring Health status of the sensors through Sourcefire Defense Center and working with local facilities team in case of issues.
