Associated with the Indian information technology industry since 1986. After qualifying with a post graduate degree in Integrated Circuits and Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, he joined Texas Instruments Inc., at their Bangalore facility in that year, to start a career in software design and development.

His work experience is predominantly in application software development. He has developed, designed and led teams in the engineering of small and large systems. The programming domains include computer-aided design tools for very large scale integrated circuits, performance monitoring of parallel processing computers, web based business and e-commerce applications and network security algorithms.

He holds a software patent in the area of computational network security.

He continues to be in touch with technology developments and is comfortable with most contemporary advances in his area of work.

His work experience has been mostly with American multinational companies, working for their Indian development centers. He has worked (in chronological sequence), for Texas Instruments Inc, IBM Corp., Aspect Development Inc (later acquired by i2 Corp.) and Lisle Technology Partners LLC. He grew from individual contributor to project leader, program manager and finally to director of engineering in the course of his career with these companies. His last position in corporate employment was as the managing director of the India center, with responsibility for P&L. One of his key later year experiences in senior management was the building of dependable talent and resources in the constrained situations caused by an uncertain world economy.

He co-founded Bootstrap Systems in 2018, as an education and training company in contemporary technologies. His personal expertise is in JavaScript based UI frameworks, particularly React. The training is directed at companies looking to train their staff in such UI technologies. His expertise in JavaScript also extends to the server side and the use of NodeJS as an application server. As such, he can also competently deliver training in JavaScript based full stack systems.
