I have worked as a special educator with children and teens with special needs. But on the side, I have given guidance to high school children in projects and course work (ICSE/ ISC).
I enjoy discussions and explanations of important points that need to be covered to make students think and expand knowledge. I also get them to be enthusiastic and open to delving more about the subject in order to learn, grow in understanding of the subject and in love with it.
I am persistent, committed and encouraging and i normally like using slide shows/ power points depending on the material to be studied and also encourage current videos that help in understanding or demonstrating practicality.
I do this as this is interesting in teaching and has helped me learn and grow as an individual in my field of interest and practice.
