I've been teaching drums for about 6 years. I started of teaching my cousin who wanted to play drums for fun, but he gradually started to show more intrest and now I am glad to say that he can perfectly accompany many songs. My Teaching methods are from the scratch of drum. Your seating posture Setup your drums How to hold you sticks How should you make each strokes Improve your practice time etc... We start with a basic rhythm patterns and drum Rudiments parallelly. We go through the theory and the notation. Song Accompaniment (playing along with songs) Dynamic drumming Rock drumming I find something new in my sessions with each of my students, as a teacher as well a leaner. And my students enjoy their classes and are hopefully comfortable to the my syllabus.
