Currently a free lance Bharathanatyam Teacher/ Performer. I undertake choreography for performances and programmes.

Experience as a teacher/performer for the last 3 years.
2014-2015 - Sreejaya School of Classical Dance
2014 - 2015 as a dance and music teacher in Padma Sheshadri Bal Bhavan, Bangalore.
Prior to that have handled part time and evening classes in Chennai.
Graduated from the world renowned school of dance - Kalakshetra Foundation and a Four year Diploma holder in Bharathanatyam from Chennai
Trained thoroughly in dance( nritta and abhinaya) under the guidance of exponents in the field like Girish Madhu,Bhraga Bessel, Leela Samson. Also trained in Carnatic vocal and Mridangam to enhance music and talam sense which is very important in dance.
Thorough knowledge of nattuvangam, dance theory, history and its heritage.
Experience in choreography and performances at programmes,dance dramas and other productions.
