Can you predict the formulas for binary covalent compounds?

yes u can easily predict 1.By two compounds which are different 2.When last compund is anion we can confirm it is binary covalent compund Ex:ClF3,ZnF, 3.formula ending with " ide " we can say it is binary covalent compound

How do I draw a Lewis structure for a molecule?

3 steps to complete this problem 1.find valence electrons 2.Ex:find valence electrons for H2O molecule= for H2 =1*2=2 For O molecule=6 electrons Total=8 Valence electrons There is a simple technique only by valence electrons
