What is body language and what all is included in the body language training?

Body Language is an important aspect of Communication. We communicate with others not just through the words we use but also through the use and manipulation of our bodies. Body Language is an essential aspect of Non- verbal Communication. Here, words are not spoken but the meaning is still comprehended by the listener. We tend to look away when we are not interested. We may not say that we are non interested using as many words but this non- verbal gesture of looking away is construed as lack of interest. Now let us address the question on what Body Language entails. Kinesics or Body Language entails Eye Contact (The way you look/ gaze at a person), Posture (The way you sit/ stand/ move), Gesture (Hand Movements) and Facial Expressions. Body language is subconscious or unconscious communication of your body. It constitutes to about 56% of our communication. It is powerful tool for communication even with out speaing a word.
