We have grown and shall grow more a little bit but growth of future generation is most essential which will bring happiness to numerous family and nation. A nation shall feel privileged, which got this unique opportunity to have maximum number of youths among all nations of world. Just imagine, the strength and confidence level of a family with all young and capable brothers and sisters. Similar sentiments prevail at state and national level.
One need to prepare a youth with systematic planning and with guidance and counseling so that a he / she can develop a proper understanding of different competition and growth related issues and overcome all hurdles and limitations in the way and prepare themselves for the future roles. Integration of such efforts will ensure growth at family, state and national level.
Yesterday’s world belong to my parents, Today’s world belong to me and tomorrow world will belong to you. I am sincerely bringing to you those thoughts which my grand parents have told my parents and subsequently my parents have told me in line with our great practices and traditions what we always follow in a typical Indian homes. This article is an attempt to bring out these issues in front of youth by responsible seniors so that a youth can understand, feel the need hour and improve / upgrade himself and participate in nation building process for a unique identity to self, family and nation.
Most critical stage of a youth is when he / she steps out of home, when he / she steps out of school / college, when he/she steps out of parental control into a new domain of competition for better education and employment opportunities, where one has to face the world on his own. This transition zone of stepping out from one domain to another domain is very difficult and one needs special care as old environment slowly gets replaced by a new environment. Parents, old friends, old school, old college, old habits nothing remains with you all the time, your environment undergoes a massive change in this transition period. So one need to understand, one need to prepare, one need to train one selves to get into this new domain.
Preparation starts when you seriously ask one question to yourself that why we are studying? Ask this questions as many times as possible unless you gets a clear reply from within. Naturally one gets an answer that I am studying to get success in my life, to stand on my own feet and to earn and take care of my parents & family and to lead a happy life. Once we get this answer then ask second question have you ever prepared your self to achieve this outcome. You have prepared for basic exams, you have prepared for base level competitions, you have prepared for all parties but have you ever thought of preparing yourself for this task which will make your life a little more beautiful, more meaningful and powerful. You prepare for so many things but their happiness gets over in few days and in few hours. You prepare for a new year party and its over within 5 hours and you prepare for anything leads to an quick end. We fail to get success in life because we have never prepared to get success, we have never thought seriously. But when you prepare yourself for success by fighting & overcoming weaknesses in this transition zone and prepare yourself to get success than life becomes bit easy.
Otherwise we enter in this transition zone without preparation and we face all difficulties. School life passes out very fast and suddenly you find yourself in college. College life too moves very fast with friends, with parties and suddenly you reach to the end of college life and then finally you enters into this transition zone without any preparations. You attempt for one job / exam competition as your friends told you and then you attempt for another exam as someone else told you and process repeats with mixed results as you do not know clearly where one should go and which is the best option / choice.
Around 60-65 lakhs youths( In India) enters into this domain every year and if you do not how to prepare yourself then one is likely to face all difficulties. Pressure build up on you to perform as parent thinks he will get into a good college, he will get a good job, everyone expects from you to do something good, qualify this written test and that interview but you realize the problem deep inside when you come back and sit in your room alone. After a few unsuccessful attempts you start doubting your confidence and slowly you lands into a trouble. All kind of uncertainty and fear comes into your mind and you remain alone to fight your war. Time never stops, it clicks , it clicks and day by day your frustration starts building up and you start sinking, which makes us all very unhappy and feel disappointments.
At this time a stage also comes when we start blaming our destiny, starts blaming poor financial conditions, starts blaming teachers, starts blaming schools and colleges and starts blaming others but we never blame ourselves that I have not done enough to prepare myself for this war. My parent did their duty, my teachers also helped me and everyone else helped to the best they can but it is only me who did not prepare seriously, who did not take advantage of all those support and help. Just imagine in Mahabharat war, Lord Krishna could have alone fought the war with Kauravas but Lord Krishna prompted Arjuna to fight the war. He taught him everything from war planning to spiritual and Philosophical teaching but he never fought the war and it is Arjuna who eventually fought the war. Everyone else including parents and teaches can only help you, support you but finally it is you and you alone who has to stand, build and realize the dream.
Each one of you represent a family, represent a society to which you belongs, represent a state to which you belongs, represent a nation to which you belongs so once you are strong and successful then everyone else gets that happiness, name and fame.
There are many ways in which one can prepare like we prepare ourself for party, prepare for shopping into a big mall and so on. But always remember that we have to prepare till last stage and never miss any stage as otherwise the whole preparation goes for waste. Always remember the fight in those last stages are most crucial and take utmost care until you achieve the success and never stop and lose your focus anywhere even for a moment. These are crucial tips and one can little modify to match your own environment. One can prepare to enter in this transition zone by following a simple nine step process. Once you understand this nine step process and practice over them and integrate them in your day to day schedules then you can definitely expect a very good result in terms of achieving a bright future with happy and successful life.
