Children are a bundle of energy. Thanks to COVID, he must be forced to follow a lot of restrictions. Given his age, he requires a lot of physical activity, which will eventually keep him calm and focus much better. Generally, I would suggest a sport where he gets tired/swimming, exhausts his energy, and calms him down.
But due to restrictions - you can enrol him in some freestyle/hip-hop dance. Or, as a family, do some yoga/brain gym exercises (look up internet)/ simple workouts/simple tasks which involve physical energy. Refrain from giving his sweet/sugary foods during mornings.
You mentioned he grasps concepts with ease, and he just needs to improve his sitting tolerance. I know it's a cliche in the given times. But it is essential to reduce his screen time. It constantly proved that much technology makes many children restless and more hyperactive.
Try to include classes where teachers are sensitive to his needs and can plan a class with the VAKT model ( multi-sensory teaching style) so classes are more fun and he is not bored. Motivation and Reinforcement goes a long way!!
On the whole, not to worry!! As he grows older, the sitting tolerance increases. Since he grasps concepts quickly, he shows signs of being an intelligent/intelligent child.
