I always follow the professional way tat I have learnt in B.Ed.First I introduce the topic to the student by asking them questions relating to the topic so that they are ready to receive the topic. Then start explaining the topic with examples if possible real life examples and also ask them to give examples or express their point of view about the topic or story .If its grammar then its different I give them as many examples as possible and ask them to give as many examples as possible, I use wren and martin for teaching grammar.
