Marisakthi,
Composer, performer, music arranger and music educator
by profession with over 18 years of experience. An exponent of the ‘Russian piano technique’, (studied under the Russian-trained Dr. Surojeet Chatterji alumnus of the Moscow Conservatory)
Marisakthi showcased his Keyboard skills at the age of 11, where he started learning Harmonium in Carnatic classical from Mr. Sangaradas one of the initial guru’s of Isaignani Ilaiyaraja. He developed his Keyboard skills in light music and also showed interest in composing and arranging music through technology. He performed in lot of Political shows, Wedding parties, Festivals. He founded the band “Phoenix” at the age of 14 made the first ever music video album produced by T.M.H.N.U.Mat.Hr.Sec.School which was released by the famous lyricist Kavingar Vairamuthu, sold over 3500 DVD’s around Tamil nadu. Soon he felt the need to learn Piano in western classical music, which he found in the great Dr. Surojeet Chatterji (alumnus of the Moscow Conservatory of Music), in the Russian Piano Technique at the famed Dr. A R Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, Chennai.
