This course  tells you about the importance of measuring  various  physical quantities  that are used in our daily life. Though this is specifically for the eleventh standard students, this will also be useful for all the students who enjoy  learning PHYSICS . In this course you are going to learn about the  fundamental  physical quantities and the units with which they are measured. 

In the first case, the measurement of length is discussed in detail. How to  measure  large distances like the distance between our planet and the sun? and small distances like the the distance between the nucleus and the electron in an atom? 

Then the measurement of mass is discussed. The measurement  of masses of  small objects like grapes that you very much like to eat and that of mass of very large objects like that of the sun and other stars , even that of galaxies are also discussed. 

Then the  measurement of time is discussed as TIME is very important in our life.
