Vikku Vinayakram ( Percussionist from Shakti – John Mclaughlin) at the age of 9. He started playing Ghatam ( Indian clay pot) in professional classical concerts at 14, which slowly developed interests in other percussions like kanjeera (Frame Drums) and Morsing (Jaw-Harp). He studied Percussions for 15 years meanwhile completing his Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, India. His avid interest in bringing the Music and Computer together as Creative Sonic Arts led him to receive a Masters of Science in Music Technology from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology , Indianapolis, USA.

Both the guitars doesn't make any difference for the beginners, because they are going to start learning only from the foundations. But Playability wise, The classical guitar has nylon strings which is softer than the acoustic guitar's steel string. it also depends on the age of the learner. Hope you find it helpful.
