What makes us speak fluent English, is a million dollar question of all time. The most common thing in English is we need to focus on Tenses. Tenses are divided into three significant parts present, past and future, which is further divided into 12 parts.
In this lesson, we are going to focus on the present tense. Present tense is divided into four parts. Verbs form all the tenses. In the present tense we use the current form and participle form of verbs.
- Simple Present is used to express habits, general truths and statements. The present verb is used.
- Present continuous is used to express live actions. Verb + ing form is used.
- Present perfect is used for actions in the immediate past. Participle form of the verb is used here.
- Present perfect continuous is used for an action which started in the past and continuing Up to the present moment. We use been + ing verb.
