Yes, I agree that infrastructure contributes to the Economic development of a nation. For any development to take place, infrastructure is the basic requirement. Roads, bridges ,Railway lines boost the transporation sectors whereas better living conditions in terms residential buildings, schools etc helps to keep workforce in check.
A government may inject money in an economy by investing in infrastructure. Resulting in the Multiplier effect to take place which in turn increases the flow of money in the economy. thus increasing the purchasing power of the people.
