I have worked in a Monterssori School in Acton, Boston, Massachusetts. I have worked with toddlers - age 2.5 to 4 years. I have done my Montessori training from Vikaasa School, Madurai alongside worked with the upper kindergarten. I did identify a child who was Dyslexic. With the guidance of the Head Mistress contacted the parents and updated about their child. Parents were at denial. With couple of meetings the parents accepted and agreed to help the child. I have worked with a child who had Silver Syndrome. He was very fragile. I had to assure him he is safe with me. During break time or play time he would make sure that he was around me and was not hurt by anybody.

I have helped settled a pre kg child settle in my class. She was very attached to her mother. I have never seen a mother and daughter bonding so strong.
It was very difficult for this child to let go her mom.

I have tutored a grade 8 child (under privileged) in his studies.

I have attended TA 101 workshop.I can draw the attention of a child/class while reading a book.I enjoy singing rhymes and songs with children.I can make the child secured in the given environment.
