On the requests and the queries that I receive very often for the Class Room Session, I am going to start a Basic French Language Course, especially for Office Goers / Housewives / College Students.
I am a full-time Corporate language trainer, having 10+years of working experience in different domains of Language. I have taught in various institutions in Delhi and Outside Delhi in last 14 years.
Course Objectives:
This is an introductory course that is conducted entirely in French. The goals for this semester are:
To be able to understand, speak, write and read in the present, future and past tenses about such topics as you and your family, food, travel, hobbies, your daily present and past activities and your environment. Emphasis will also be placed on how to interact with different people in different contexts.
To be able to write short compositions about the topics above, without the use of a dictionary.
To become acquainted with French and Francophone customs, history and civilization on a simple scale.
To develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for your own culture as well as others.
Prerequisite :
-A beginning level course designed for students who have no prior knowledge of French.
-One should be Francophile.
Course Description:
It offers an introduction to the French language and culture with an emphasis on the acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical concepts through active communication. The course is conducted entirely in French, and students interact in French with their classmates from the very beginning. They also receive exposure to the language via a variety of authentic sources such as the Internet, audio, video and printed materials which help them develop cultural awareness as well as linguistic proficiency.
