Elements of the workshop-

The workshop includes a writing-workouts, warm-up exercises & learning supported by audio-visual aids. In the course of participating in the "Creative Writing" workshop, students will:

• Practice creative writing skills & techniques of the literary genre.
• Follow the writing process to create original writings.
• Understand how to review and revise their own writing.
• Publish their poems into an anthology of poems.

The workshop takes a student-centered approach to creative writing, offering a range of strategies to help you develop as a writer. Participants are encouraged to explore their creative writing potential through self-awareness and self-discovery. Students use their heightened awareness of language for greater effect and to translate an imagined world onto the page.

The workshop is suitable for aspiring writers of all levels and abilities and for anyone with a strong interest in reading and writing, who would like to deepen their understanding of the creative process. There are timed exercises and participants are given relevant homework each day and receive appropriate and constructive feedback. 

This is a fun and informative creative writing workshop and ideal for beginners or for writers who want to polish their work. Children write poems/ stories/ adverts/ punch- lines/ articles/ essays/ reports/ reviews and more.

The gains, spread over grammatical accuracy, choice of vocabulary, sensitivity to writing devices, text structure and organization of thoughts, are noteworthy. Learners also tend to discover personal as well as linguistic growth. Having said that, this is not a magic potion and concerted consistent efforts are required to ultimately blossom as a writer.
