IdentityThe purpose of Special Education or Counselling is to provide our students with help and support to overcome problems that may range from (education , developmental issues, physical disability or any other health issue) and help them to realize their full-potential.
We also provide treatment for psychological symptoms.
The problems are addressed from developmental (lifespan), environmental and cultural perspectives.
• Making decisions about academic curriculum, child’s performance and vocational interests.
• School and career/work adjustment concerns.
• Learning and skill deficits.
• Dealing with and adjusting to physical disabilities, disease or injury.
• Learning coping skills for their Disability.
• Stress management and coping with negative life events.
• Personal/social adjustment at home and at school.
• Referral for Assessment for the students Reports for any disability.
• Psycho-educating Parents about the disability and ways to take care of their child’s condition.
• The development of one’s identity.(helping the child to understand their low points and high points).
