We know that the expression for the velocity is,
Substitute the values given in the question to find the distance of the space ship from the ground station.
First convert the time from minutes to seconds using the fact that there are 60 seconds in one minute.
We have,
time=5×60 s
=300 s
v=3×10^8 m/s

d= v×t
d=9×10^10 m
