Weekends: Saturday & Sunday
The JLPT has five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5. The easiest level is N5 and the most difficult level is N1.
The ability to understand some basic Japanese.

- One is able to read and understand typical expressions and sentences written in hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji.

- One is able to listen and comprehend conversations about topics regularly encountered in daily life and classroom situations, and is able to pick up necessary information from short conversations spoken slowly.
While the official exam does not test conversation and writing skills, the classroom preparation will include these two important areas of learning and usage.
A typical language class will have an introduction, defined structure for identifying and learning the sounds/pronunciation, characters, vocabulary, grammar, some reading, listening and summary drill.
Students will be assisted to train for the official exam by being given regular tests at the class. Some homework will be given to help them think and re-enforce the learnings from the class.
Students who excel in classroom studies will have an option to take part in cultural workshops/events to apply their knowledge and learn practical usage of the language.
