The course is for students who'd like to learn music theory and keyboard together.
This course will cover:
1. Chords, their formation and how to use the left hand effectively to support the melody
2. Chord progressions, basic and advanced used in various popular songs which can be heard across the TV.
3. Left hand improvisation and patterns that can be effectively used in all song covers, and common techniques and tips that can help the left hand sound perfect.
These sections cover the left hand portion which will be focused on first in order to teach the student how the rhythm section in any piano song could be handled effectively
For the right hand, the theory is a bit complex. Here's what will be taught for the next 4 weeks:
1. Scales on right hand for all notes, for which the practise schedules will be given
2. Playing popular melodies with the right hand only, helping the student get the rhythm right and how melodies move along a specific scale.
3. Combining the two hands and learning the songs as a whole.
This course will be extremely beneficial for the student in their musical journey. A couple of carefully picked songs are chosen for this purpose so that anyone from a beginner to advanced musician can learn from them effectively.
