Overview

I have been a teacher for most of my life. It all started with my father. He ran a coaching institute in my home town. He was a firm believer in Einstein's quote .."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well" . So he always encouraged me to help my friends in academics because you can't explain a concept to someone else if you don't understand it well yourself. Soon i started enjoying it. Later, I took his classes too. Then I left for engineering. For last 2 years I have been in Delhi and for last 1 year, I have been teaching class 9-10 students.

Distinguish between poikilothermous and homoiothermous organisms.

I will talk about poikilothermous and homoiothermous animals .Since animals make more sense to us because they can be perceived by our senses . Homeothermic animals are those animals which are Warm-Blooded (Mammals and Birds). Poikilothermic animals are those which are Cold-Blooded (Fishes, Amphibians... ...more
I will talk about poikilothermous and homoiothermous animals .Since animals make more sense to us because they can be perceived by our senses . Homeothermic animals are those animals which are Warm-Blooded (Mammals and Birds). Poikilothermic animals are those which are Cold-Blooded (Fishes, Amphibians and Reptiles). The simple difference is If you put a reptile in refrigerator, it survives for a longer period because it has the ability to adjust to environmental temperature. If you put a bird into a refrigerator, it may survive but not as long as the reptile because it dies due to extreme chilling. Same goes for poikilothermous and homoiothermous organisms too.
