My name is Priya Minz. I had my school education from Carmel School,Hazaribag,Jharkhand. I moved to Bangalore for pursuing my higher education. I have completed my Bachelor in Arts in English,Journalism and Political Science from Kristu Jayanti College,Bangalore and Post-Graduation in English Literature from Jyoti Nivas(Autonomous)College,Bangalore.I have also specialized in Education (B.Ed) from Christ University, Bangalore.

My first teaching experience was at St.Xavier's School,Hazaribag,Jharkhand for 2 Years from 2014-2016 during which I was given an opportunity to be part of a project by the British Council funded by the University of Warwick,Coventry,U.K on improving the quality of English in Indian Classrooms. I am pursuing my Ph.D in English from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag since 2017. I was awarded Inspire Fellowship for topping the Doctoral Eligibility Test (2015) which gave me an opportunity to teach M.A English students on a year's contract . I've also served as a Guest Faculty of English in the University Law College,VBU,Hazaribag for a period of 6 months (April - February 2017). Currently I am working as an Interlocutor (Speaking Test Examiner) to Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment-Occupational English Test (OET) for medical professionals across India intending to practice abroad as doctors and nurses.

My 3.5 years of experience in teaching has developed in me strong problem-solving skills, honed my ability to manage situations and deal with demanding individuals and polished my inter-personal skills.I am keen to utilize my passion for excellent teaching-learning experience.
During my education I had actively participated in band,choir and sports activities as well.
