Rivers Rehabilitation Centre

I am the co-owner of Rivers Rehabilitation Centre. I have completed my B.ed in special education in learning disabilities. We provide Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Physiotherapy, Counseling, and Special Education to children having learning disabilities and other disabilities. Our working professionals are well-qualified and have experience of more than ten years in the field. We also provide diagnostic facilities.

We wanted to help young children navigate through their life. It's our contribution to society. We have students from two years to twelve or thirteen years. Our classes are conducted on both online and offline modes. While teaching on both platforms, we have observed the difference in the child’s growth. We take individual and group classes depending on the requirements and comfort of the child. We understand the various needs of the students and provide them with one-to-one attention.

Working with special children for so long, we have come to understand their different needs. We apply interesting approaches to grab a child's attention and make learning fun. Instead of teaching everything from the books, we prefer creative and catchy ways like videos, PowerPoint presentations, stories, or even conversing with the students. Students' mood plays a significant role in the learning process. We encourage them to learn in their ways. Sometimes, they write on the floor instead of their copies or prefer to talk rather than repeat after the teacher. We also give homework and worksheets or assign simple, small tasks to the students to practice at home. We always encourage them to find new ways to learn and support all our students' growth.

Our professional is also trained in jolly phonics and as well as handwriting. They also took workshops on phonics with professionals. One of our professional has well exposure & experience to take classes in EVS, Science, etc. and she/ he has exposure to taking these classes in schools with children.
