Sangeet Ganga

Sangeet Ganga was founded by such eminent artistes of India as Pt Hari Prasad Chaurasia( fluite maestro) Guru Urmila Nagar (Kathak exponent) Smt Sulochana Yajurvedi (Vocalist) .The aim is to promote and propagate music among general public. It organized music & dance festivals for giving platform to young artistes to show their talents.
Sangeet Ganga imparts training in Kathak dance and vocal music( Bhajan,Ghazal ,Thumri ) under supervision of Sangeet Natak Awardee, eminent artiste of India and former Director of National Institute of Kathak Dance. There are separate classes for adance students and beginners. The lessons are imparted individually and in group classes. The emphasis is on imbibing in them proficiency of stage performance and beauty of postures & rigours of rhythm
It has two centres, one in Sector 38 Gurgaon and another in Munirka, New Delhi.
Fee for individual classes: Rs.1000/- per class of one hour for advance students
Fee for group classes : Rs.1600/- per student for classes of one hour, once a
Week on Saturday/Sunday for beginners
