Hi Ajay
If you are aspiring to get into IITs or NITs or other top engineering colleges then you should star preparing right away after matriculation. There are mainly two options available, one is to take admission in a school which doesn't focus on regular attendance and join full time coaching institutes. The 2nd option- focus on you 10+2 studies in some good schools and along with keep preparing for entrance exam through postal study material. The 2nd options requires a lot of effort, but if you are able to give a certain fixed time daily and plan your studies well, you can easliy clear exmas and even secure good percentage in boards also. For both the options, it totaly depends on you dedication and hardwork. Benifit of a coaching institute is that there are very good faculties who explains topics in a very simple way and you get to practice a lot before going to real exam. If you are form a welloff family and can bear expences of coaching then don't take risk and join coaching institutes. One more thing, if you are very fickle minded then try to join institute which are near to your home(in same city) so that you don't indulge youselves in wasting time and money.
