Along the way I have played in multiple rock bands and have given countless solo performances in acoustic guitar I have been a full-time guitar teacher .

I still like to get out and perform, but I truly love teaching. Over the years I have enjoyed watching my students grow to do their own thing in music whether it be jamming with their buddies, creating their own bands, or striving for their Masters in music.

Today I continue to learn as I teach. I have been fortunate to enjoy learning from some great teachers over the years. My approach to teaching balances the physical and mental aspects of playing the guitar. That’s the balance of technique and music theory. Guitar is a workout and an education all in one.

In the long term taking this balanced approach saves the student time, money, and aggravation. My students love unlocking the mystery of music and applying that knowledge to learning songs,
