I have been teaching since 2019. I hold a Bcom degree from a French-medium university and am passionate about sharing my knowledge. Hailing from a French-speaking country, Mali, teaching has always been a part of my life. Previously, I worked at an institute in my hometown, where I taught French and Spoken English.
Teaching is not just a profession for me; it is a passion. Witnessing the growth and progress of my students brings me immense joy and fulfilment. In my classes, I utilise Zoom to conduct interactive sessions with groups of up to twenty students. Each class lasts fifty-five hours, and I cater to learners of all ages. I follow a well-structured lesson plan encompassing various teaching techniques to ensure effective learning. Interactive classes are crucial to engaging students and fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
My teaching style prioritises hands-on learning and encourages active student participation. I do not rely on PowerPoint presentations or extensive note-taking, as I believe in creating a dynamic environment that fosters dialogue and critical thinking. Instead, I provide practical exercises and activities that enable my students to apply their knowledge in real-life scenarios. To reinforce learning outside the classroom, I assign homework that complements the topics covered during our sessions. Consistent practice is crucial for language acquisition, and I provide constructive feedback to help my students improve their skills. By incorporating various teaching strategies, I aim to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. I am dedicated to providing them with a solid foundation in French and Spoken English, equipping them with the necessary skills to communicate confidently in both languages.
