Both guitar and piano have string. But standard guitar has only six while piano like ( Grand piano,Upright piano) which has more keys with more than 230 strings.
In case of guitar,its of two dimensional instrument need to find the right notes/ scale/ chords in six ,while in piano all the notes itself start from lowest ( left) to highest ( right) pitch according ly..which is somehow easier to find the notes or play the scale or chords.
