Hi Mrinal,
There are multiple frameworks came and gone and new are also coming up.
BUt choosing a Java framework depends upon the stability of it in the market and ease of use to the developers.
The best combination is Spring with Hibernate- it is there since several years but very statble and easy to learn and use.

Hi Nalini,
There are multiple things you need to learn.
To undersand the web application (based on a frame work) is devided in 3 parts MVC - Model (Data), View (Used Interface), Control (Flow and logic).
To understand all these thing you need to learn first the core Java to make the business logic and flow of data you need to have the basic knowledge of OOPS and other Java concepts to write servlets and Spring classes (if you are using Spring ).
The second is the User Interface like a web page and for this you need to have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and JSP.
For application deployement you need to have basic knowhow of webserver/Application server like Tomcat.
For Backend data store you can have a basic knowledge of Mysql/Oracle or any other database.
You might need atleast 2 month to have a good knowledge of webbased develepment in Java.
Java web development is the easiest of all technologies available in the market.

Hi Malvika,
There is no direct answer to your questions.
I am learning java since last 15 years and still learning.
But yes, to know the basics of Java where you can start programming and understanding the things in a different way, it takes max 2 months, in which yo can learn the basics in depth Java programming knowledge and after this such knowledge, no programming laguage gets difficult for you.
I am working in TCS for last 9 years in Java technology and evryday I learn something new.
To start with I suggest you start with the base, as if the base is strong nothing will stop you.
Rest all the frameworks and technologies which are coming day on day are all based on the basics.
Learn the core java hard and thn shift to Server side technologies.
I prefer you to learn from a Book/Teaching instaed of online. Download a E book and start learning.
Every where in Java only, Android is Java, IOs is java, New Blockchain tech is also java.
from Coffe machine to Super computer all is Java, so learn and earn as much as you can :) Good luck.

Hi,
There are 3 types of Java applications for beginners.
1 : Command line applications
2: Desktop based applications
3: Web based applications
Other applications are also can be build in Java like, Phone applications (Android and IOS ), Microservices based application, Enterprise based EJB applications etc.
It depends upon your requirements which application you want to create, I will explain with example.
1. Web based Applications : The most importtant and common applications now a days are web based and you have many options to start with.
First choose your frame work to start with like Spring, Struts etc and backend Framework like Hibernate.
The Mostly used is Spring.
After this define your application entites and database design and choose backend Framework like Hibernate.
After you choose, Classify the application by creating small requirements and make a MVC (Model , View , Control ) diagrams .
And then start creating the Controllers and Backend DAO classes and choose front end technology like Json (to transfer data) or Node JS to work upon.
All the above, if the project is not very big, you can directly start working without any framework. Just start by creating UI with JSP and BAckend with servlets.
