I can suggest you go with Manual testing and then convert your profile into Automation testing depends on your coding interest. As you have some banking domain experience, you can even present your skills into the banking domain. Even in the IT industry, banking domain techies get bit huge demand. Then once you understand the IT industry, from Automation industry to development tools, I can suggest you go phase by phase. That will be easy to grab the opportunity
