I believe in hands on learning. 'Every child can' being my philosophy, I focus on the following:
Assessing & evaluating each students cognitive, social, physical, language and communication abilities and activities of daily living.
Teaching English and Social Science curriculum to students with mild/moderate developmental disabilities.
English language remediation and subject reinforcement
Writing, implementing and evaluating Individualized Education Plans for designated students.
Conducting remedial intervention classes for students with language based difficulty in primary, junior, middle and senior school.
Collaborating with the regular education teacher in adapting the curriculum, providing appropriate modifications, its implementation and assessing progress.
Conducting sensitization sessions for spreading awareness on special needs with mainstream classrooms
Conducting Adolescent Education Program.
Social skills and daily living schools.
Workshops in Schools on Special Education - to build awareness and help Mainstream teachers.
