Teaching this group of students is very exciting as they think out of the box. From my experience I have learnt that they need to be heard patiently and should not be discouraged from expressing themselves. This helps them become more comfortable with the teacher which is one of the keys to effective learning. As far as specific subjects are concerned, I teach English and science. Being a language English learning must include all the four aspects : listening, speaking, reading and writing. When concepts are related to the real life experiences they make more sense to the children and that's how a subject like science needs to be taught to the students. Teaching is a two way process where both the students and teachers must be involved for teaching to be fun.

I have been teaching English for over 6 years now. I started spoken English classes 3 years ago. In these three years I have been able to motivate my students ( women and children) to speak in English without any hesitation. I've seen them getting comfortable and confident within a few months. My experience tells that once you stop hesitating you would be able to become a fluent speaker. This is the first step and rest follows. And I'm proud that most of my students were able to successfully complete their first step.😊
