Yes you can provided you do planned hard work. When you prepare along with job, then it becomes diffcult to concentrate fully on your studies. When you focus on two things at a time, naturally your efficiency decreases as compared to focussing on a single goal at a time. If you want to prepare with single minded devotion, then preparation without job would be a better option. The only advantage of having job along with preparation is a mental satisfaction that you have a plan B in case if you fail. But in my humble opinion, there is no point in keeping a job at hand when you don't consider that job as a long term option for you. However, it totally depends on how the aspirant is able to juggle with the two balls at a time.
