1.students above 7 years can start veena No upper age limit. 2.students will learn how to play veena It depends on their grasping skills and practice to become proficient in veena playing 3 students need to bring notebook so that class that is thought can be given in notation form. 4 students do not need have any basics to learn veena Veena playing makes once relaxed and makes stress relieved .The nadam of veena has that power to relax the mind and thoughts .In few classes we can see our memory power increase as we tend to remember swaras ..One part of brain remember music .In Carnatic music both logic and analytical skills increases . By the end of 4 years one can reach a level to play varnam and keerthana. They can play in any speed after few years of practice .This requires determination and dedication and practice to exhale in this art . Art is god gift .We need to just be determined and leaen this beautiful art . By end of the course we can play bajans, varnam, keerthana,swarapallavi,swarajathi,geethams,alakaras(in all speeds),tillana We will be exposed to many composers , raga their swaras. I would be very happy teaching and sharing this art with every one who are most interested to learn this art .
