Vaishali, is there any specific reason for the job change? If yes, identify the reason why you wanted to change because after you move to IT, Language translator, you should not come across the same situation and plan to move to another field after two years. Keep focussing on improving yourself in the domain which you love to do.

Rahul, hesitation and shyness are the critical barriers for improving your speaking skill not only for English. Reading newspapers/books depends upon your interest, I would suggest having communication with a person who doesn't know your native language. This will help you a lot where you will be forced to speak out English for communication. Keep trying without hesitation and all the best. YOU WILL IMPROVE SOON!

Hi ma'am.. I have completed M.sc. in chemistry. I've been working since two years. I unable to give enough support to my family financially with my current salary. I am interested in learning any foreign language. Will it help me out in getting job as translator?? I heard that it helps better in getting good pay, as well as its my interest too! Please tell me whether I can get a translator job if i learn foreign language ?

Dear Roopa.... learning a foreign language is an added advantage for an individual... depending on the field of work it will help us to grow further. Looking at your educational experience, does translator job will be good for you? No clarity in what stream you are working, suggest you to do some PG diploma courses releated to your graduations along with foreign languages which might take to you to next level... All the best
