I have been passionate about Carnatic music for the past six years. I hold a certification from the National Sanskrit University for completing a Carnatic music course. It has been an incredible journey for me, and I have had the opportunity to work with renowned musicians and learn from the best.
For a year and a half, I had the privilege of working at Ushita Musics Academy, an esteemed institute that focuses on promoting Indian classical music. However, as time went on, I realized I wanted to reach a wider audience and share my knowledge beyond the confines of a physical institution. This led me to explore online teaching platforms, and I decided to venture into the world of online education.
Teaching Carnatic vocal music online has been a gratifying experience. Through online platforms, I have connected with students worldwide who share the same passion for this art form. It is truly inspiring to see how music can bridge cultural gaps and bring people together. When designing my online lessons, I strive to create a comprehensive and engaging curriculum. Each class lasts approximately one hour, during which I cover various aspects of Carnatic music, including theory, practical exercises, and repertoire. I provide my students with detailed notes and materials that they can refer to after the lesson, ensuring that they have a thorough understanding of the concepts taught.
Participating in online workshops and seminars has also been an integral part of my journey as an online music educator. It allows me to stay updated with the latest developments in the field, learn from experts, and exchange ideas with fellow musicians and teachers.
