Started banking career with Central Bank of India during December 1978. Joined Syndicate Bank as Probationary Officer on 01.04.1980. Managed Currency Chest, Large and Very Large branches of the Bank. Contributed in policy matters on Regional Rural Banks sponsored by the Bank from Corporate Office of Syndicate Bank, Served as General Manager in-charge of Credit, Personnel, Inspections, Investments, Accounts and Vigilance Departments of Prathama Bank and Gurgaon Gramin Bank – Regional Rural Banks sponsored by Syndicate Bank. Also served as Director of RUDSET Institute (Rural Development & Self Employment Training Institute – sponsored by Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank and SDME Trust).
Post retirement: Ex Senior Consultant to IICA:SoF: Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
Present status : Mentor/Advisor to Connecting Dreams Foundation (CDF) on rural entrepreneurship and women empowerment through Financial Inclusion. CDF is a New Delhi based NGO,
Skill developed : Policy matters, Database and MIS, Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations, Investments, Risk mitigation initiatives.

Major contributions :
• Established Rural Development Cells of various controlling Offices of Syndicate Bank at Ghaziabad, Kolkata, and Patna.
• Developed the systems and procedures for training on entrepreneurial development among unemployed youth. The EDII:Ahmedabad recognised my efforts by including my name in their compendium of national level resource person in their first edition.
• Handled migration of Database from one system to another.
• Had been associated with various institutions like NIESBUD, IARI, and many NGOs as Guest Faculty on Entrepreneurship Development.
• Policy formulation on various aspects of rural banking relevant for Regional Rural Banks
• Member of the screening committee of CSIR (Govt. of India) for selection of Award on Innovation in Science & Technology for Rural Development in the year 2013.
• As a Mentor/Advisor to CDF, I was associated with skill development among rural women in Dhaulana area of Ghaziabad/Gautam Budh Nagar in association with SANDESH/Team4Tech and other NGOs of repute.
• Successfully conducted an innovative training programme in association with IARI New Delhi for the benefits of Officers of Bank of Baroda, and Punjab National Bank on Agribusiness.
• A detailed status report on factual position of implementation of PMJDY in 5 districts of Western part of Uttar Pradesh with more than 20,000 sample survey was submitted to MoCA:IICA:School of Finance: Govt. of India, New Delhi.
• During May 2017, a special programme on on Vigilance Administration & Disciplinary Actions was conducted at BIRD Lucknow for the benefits of Regional Rural Bank
