I have over three years of experience teaching Korean. I have a BCom, an MBA, and Korean Level 4 and Level 5 certifications. My journey with the Korean language began in 2014 when I decided to learn it. I have worked with over a hundred Koreans in a programme and even went to Korea in 2022 to further my language skills. I worked with Hyundai Motors as a Korean reporter and was assigned to report to their Korean branch. I also have experience as a translator and interpreter in the corporate sector. I also have one year of teaching experience for students and corporate employees. I have won many education competitions conducted by King Sejong University, and I even participated in the Happy Move program by Hyundai Moto India as a live interpreter of the Korean language.
As a language enthusiast passionate about teaching, I have always been drawn to Korean culture. Teaching Korean is not just a profession for me; it's a passion. I aim to make learning Korean a fun experience for my students. I teach beginner courses and Topik exam preparation classes. I teach Korean language Level 1 and Level 2 online classes individually and in groups of four.
My interactive lesson plan includes vocabulary, grammar, role-play sessions, sentence formation, and K-culture classes to keep my students interested. I also help students prepare for the Test of Proficiency in Korean (Topik) exam, but I do not give the exam personally. I provide audio clippings, workbooks on dialogues and questioning, and soft copies of King Sejong's material syllabus. I also use games for vocabulary and provide my material notes. Additionally, I provide worksheets to aid in practice. I believe that with my extensive knowledge and experience, I can make a difference in the lives of those who wish to learn Korean.
