Anamitra Goswami

I am currently a student pursuing M.Sc. Life Science (Applied Medical Sciences) from the prestigious St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. I have completed by Bachelors from the renowned University of Calcutta with first-class honors in Zoology. I have always been an enthusiastic teacher. Although I have never tutored officially, I have guided many of my juniors and other students since the last 3 years. I come from a family with a rich academic background- My father who has completed his Post-doctoral research from Harvard University, USA & Mother who is currently a vice principal and takes biology classes at a renowned school in Calcutta. My key teaching skills are communication and making the subject matter easy for the student, because everyday science progresses in leaps and bounds. The fundamentals of the biological cell, a micro-entity can sometimes be overwhelming for a student. My goal is to make it easy to understand and provide proper guidance to my students towards both an academic and a professional career in this field.
As I am currently in the field, I am up to date with all the technicalities associated with the academic career. My accomplishments include publications in renowned journals such as JMPAS and internships in renowned institutes such as IISER-KOLKATA. I have also dipped into the professional line with hands-on workshops in Techniques in Biology.
I wish to impart this knowledge to my students who can benefit from it. Because knowledge is to be shared and used for the betterment of the world.
