The curriculum of my undergraduate course provided me with ample opportunities to explore the dynamic realms of several other topics other than microbiology, cell biology being one of them. Though I initiated my experimental courses in bacteriology, cell biology involving animal cell culture fascinated me the most. In order to quench my thirst for knowledge and get a hand-on experience in the laboratory, I joined the eminent BGCGE,Kolkata, India as an intern under the able guidance of Dr. Anindita Seal and got more enlightened about the prospects of RDT in cell science. After my graduation I got the prestigious Indian Academy of Science’s Summer Research Fellowship and joined as a fellow intern at Centre for Human Genetics (CHG) branch, Bangalore, India. When I joined my post graduation (M.Sc) course, I involved myself in taking advance level courses along with short term lab projects. I joined the Cellular Biophysics lab of my department for my M.Sc thesis after developing interest for cellular biophysics methods. In addition to that I have received valuable experience while working at the prestigious Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata India, in summer of 2013, as an intern under Dr. Raja Paul where I worked on confocal microscopy image processing with MATLAB programming.
In response to that I would like to apply myself as a potential one in order to play a meaningful part in our struggle to achieve heights. I am a highly motivated person in terms of achieving my goals, practising time management and prioritizing my objectives. Other than fulfilling my research interests, I strongly believe in the commitment, and the offered work objectives.I will be obliged and certainly honoured to be a part of this special. If I am replenished with the rightful opportunity to work under proper stewardship, I will definitely prove my mettle and soulfully devote to excellence and integrity of the purpose.
