I am Mrs Basabi Ghosh, an experienced and qualified Science educator. I completed graduation with honours in Zoology along with Chemistry, Physics and Botany and also did Masters in Zoology and Bachelor degree in education.
As an educator my journey began with teaching students of the age group of 15 to 19 and my experience had been truly educative and enriching. In the beginning I was teaching our Indian National Curriculum [CBSE and ICSE] and then shifted to IB and IGCSE curriculum in the year 2011. I have overseas teaching experience of Chemistry and Biology because I was fortunate to be selected to teach at US as a Fulbright teacher and also taught IB curriculum in India and in Saudi Embassy School in Moscow, Russia.
I personally felt that art of teaching IGCSE and IBDP is the art of awakening the natural curiosity in young minds and herein a teacherâ??s role is to shape studentsâ?? career and their personality.
I feel that one of my greatest strength as a teacher is the ability to meet each studentâ??s unique needs by having an in-depth understanding of their abilities and by generating innovative teaching techniques and motivating students to develop interest for the subject.
If given an opportunity it will be my endeavour to combine my range of experience with my ability to help eager learners by training them online or through face to face coaching.
