What are the names given to constant temperature, constant pressure, constant volume, constant internal energy, constant enthalpy, and constant entropy processes.

Constant Temperature : Isothermal Pressure: Isobaric Volume: Isochoric Internal energy remains constant in Isothermal Process as it is a function of temperature. Entropy remains constant only in reversible processes. You can also call a process where entropy remains constant as Isentropic.

Why Battery rated in Ah (Ampere hour) and not in VA.

Ah stands for Ampere hour and it has dimensions of charge as you can see from Q= It , whereas VA would be a unit of electrical power, which hasn"t much relevance for a battery. Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all saying a battery having 100Ah rating means it has charge stored in it; rather the 100Ah... ...more
