Hi, everyone! I’m Poushali and I’m currently pursuing my Masters degree in Kolkata. I have been teaching students all throughout my college life (both ICSE/ISC and CBSE) and I have developed my teaching style to suit each individual student according to their specific needs. For those who struggle with the subject and have difficulties in their exams, I focus on helping them to understand the texts first of all, making it fun and interesting, and building their reading, writing, speaking, comprehension and vocabulary skills. I hold regular revision sessions for literature (I understand that Shakespeare can be a challenge at times!), and assign essays and grammar exercises as well as mock tests.
If the student is interested, I also give them good short stories and novels to read outside their syllabus, especially if they are looking to pursue this subject after their higher secondary. I put in my humblest efforts to help them expand their boundaries, and create a love and passion for the subject.
